Capoeira is the most complex, but most fun I have ever had in my life. I try to practice evryday when I have some spare time and I am always trying to learn new moves with and without the teacher. I think everyone should practice everyday and grow roots in this form of martial art. Remember to Jinga and we'll be back to get our cords!!!!

I went to the Maculele class on Friday and Mestranda took time out of the class to help us and that one on one basis is important in the art of Capoeira. Remember to Jinga and go Maculele!!!

Justen and I have been wanting to come to the classes in Decatur every Friday.We have found something in capoeira that just clicks, that we cannot find anywhere else. Capoeria is rich with a lot of history and culture that I think everyone should know and share. Capoeira has brought me closer to my friends and others and I appreciate everyone who helps to teach me this art. Remember to Jinga and we will come again in February. Axe Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rasheed and I just want to thank Juba, Fantasma, Abbrehizino, Gulie, Zulu, and last but not least Mestre Fran for teaching us the basics to capoeira. We love the friday classes so much. That is the most fun thing we have done in our whole life. We plan on coming back. Cant wait to get cord!!!

Capoeira is a completely balanced art form, and Capoeira Maculelê Decatur provides the ideal forum for experiencing its music, sport, dance and community.
